​In this presentation on entomology and IPM at the 2022 Georgia Cotton Commission Annual Meeting, Phillip Roberts, University of Georgia Extension Entomologist, describes the value of scouts and consultants and then reports on several insects, including the tarnished plant bug, the clouded plant bug, the bigeyed bug nymph, the corn earworm, and the silverleaf whitefly.

About the Presenter

Phillip Roberts ​Phill​ip Roberts is a professor and Extension entomologist in the Department of Entomology at the University of Georgia. His primary responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive Extension education programs in integrated pest management (IPM) for cotton and soybean production systems. Additionally, he conducts applied research and on-farm demonstrations to advance the state of the art for IPM systems. ​
