Summary

​This presentation will help consultants, growers, and other practitioners in the cotton growing regions of the United States. The discussion will include basic information on weed resistance. This will include what it is, where it is located, and how it develops. The presentation will also discuss information on ways to manage pigweed in cotton. 

About the Presenter

Todd A. BaughmanTodd A. Baughman is a native of Southwest Oklahoma. He received his BS and MS from Oklahoma State University in Agronomy and his PhD from Mississippi State University in Weed Science. He is currently the Program Support Leader for Oklahoma State University’s Institute for Agricultural Biosciences and a Research and Extension Weed Science concentration on weed management in summer crops and pastures. Prior to joining Oklahoma State he was and Extension Agronomist and State Peanut Specialist with Texas A&M University.​
