Summary

Initially, my concern with our irrigation practices was to find ways to save money and conserve water, which is a valuable resource. Another major concern was to determine the efficiency of our furrow irrigation. The number and locations of our soil moisture meters help determine not only the frequency of our irrigation, but also the depth the water was penetrating. This helped our irrigation practices be as cost-efficient as possible while still being as environmentally-friendly as possible.
