Summary

​As various weeds are becoming more resistant to herbicides, new non-chemical methods of weed control are needed to combat them. This presentation offers a decade of research to help the user with weed control using cover crops in combination with other production practices, such as pre-herbicide spraying and the latest weed control technologies on the market.

About the Presenter

Larry SteckelLarry Steckel is a Professor in the Department of Plant Sciences at The University of Tennessee, where he specializes in Row Crop Weed Management. He earned a PhD in Crop Sciences from the University of Illinois, a MS in Agronomy from the University of Missouri, and a BS in Agronomy from Western Illinois University.​
