Summary

This presentation provides cotton ginners insight into the new for 2017 Precision Cotton Harvesting Technology introduced by John Deere and the capabilities these technologies afford the ginner. The new onboard moisture sensor, round module weighing feature, and Harvest Identification, Cotton Pro module management application offer data tracking for each round module from producer to ginner. This presentation provides step by step information for a ginner to electronically track a producer’s modules from field to gin yard using the producer’s Harvest Identification, Cotton Pro data file and an RFID bridge.​

Christopher Murray​​ Christopher Murray is a Marketing Product Manager with the John Deere Cotton Harvester product line. Christopher has five years of experience working closely with cotton producers and ginners across the world. Since the summer of 2016, Christopher has been promoting the latest advancements in Precision Cotton Harvesting Technology from John Deere to cotton industry partners. This new technology includes moisture sensing, round module weighing, and Harvest Identification, Cotton Pro module management application.
