This presentation will help consultants, growers, and other practitioners in the Southern U.S. scout and manage soybean nematodes, a group of widespread and damaging pests of soybean. In this presentation the various nematode species causing economic damage to soybean and their feeding habits are described as well as the symptoms they cause on soybean. Management options for each species are discussed. By the end of this presentation, the practitioner should know more about the nematodes which damage soybean, their biology, and the appropriate management tools to utilize for each nematode species.
