This presentation follows up on David Kern's talk on resistant bollworm traits and offers advice for the field. Although insect resistance in Bt cotton is growing, the technology is still an important and effective asset against bollworms, particularly when coupled with spray treatments. The author discusses a recent study to help drive this point home. Newer Bt technologies and their effectiveness are also discussed.
