​This presentation provides an overview of the weed control challenges growers faced during the 2018 growing season, how new cotton technologies performed in the East Texas region and what areas we still need to focus on to further reduce off-target movement of herbicides.

Scott NolteScott Nolte is the State Extension Weed Specialist for Texas, and his role is to provide statewide leadership in effective, profitable, and sustainable integrated weed management in row crops, pastures, home lawns, golf courses, and sports fields. Through timely dissemination of information based on his knowledge and findings from applied research and collaboration with colleagues in this and other disciplines, Nolte allows Texans to make informed weed management choices.​​
